​​This page contains downloads of the free academic Modelgeo software version 25.5.1, plus a Getting Started tutorial and two demo datasets. This software is free for all non-commercial use. It does not include the specialist ModelGeo Toolbox applications, these are only available in commercial licenses.

This version can be used for gridding, depth conversion, volume calculation and prospect evaluation, and is a good companion software for seismic interpretation. ​Map images can be georeferenced. Seismic images can be referenced and converted to SEG-Y. All types of data can be coordinate transformed. The software can be used for general math with cubes, grids and points, and has excellent 3D visualizaton.
We support the green transition, and invite users outside of oil and gas to try this powerful free software. ​
